Keiji Inafune X Drawing by MegaPhilX Keiji Inafune X Drawing by MegaPhilX
Here is a drawing of X made by Keiji Inafune at Captivate 2010. I'll probably frame this ( : Awesome!
The funny thing is as he was drawing it, he had trouble remembering how to draw him so I've shown him my avatar picture on my cell as he was drawing. ^_^

I think they misunderstood him big time. :( I have the full interview about his resignation and about where he plans to go in the future. Everyone should think outside of the box before they go pointing fingers and judging Inafune-san. There is always a method to the way he works, and I am confident that we haven't seen the last of him or his great talents. Japanese or western style games aside, if Keiji Inafune is involved with a project, it will be a high quality game ultimately. :)

Keiji Inafune is a traitor to his own company and the rest of decent video games. If he's so great he would make a proper 3D Megaman game if he wishes to compete against Mario, The Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy rather than making the generic Dark Void.
He thinks Japanese developers need to make games like Westerners but look at the new DmC. His goals will be the REAL downfall for Capcom.

:iconwthplz: 3D Mega Man ruins the entire concept. Mega Man is all about simplicity and difficulty, by adding a third dimension it screws up the whole thing and they have to make it ridiculously hard in order to keep people feeling like it's an original Mega Man. I mean, look at Mega Man Legends. The first boss had to be incredibly frustrating. What's wrong there? "THE FIRST BOSS". They keep you from selecting which boss you want to fight first. All in all, if the original Mega Man were 3D, think about how much easier Mega Man would be as a franchise. So no. YOUR goals are the downfall for Capcom.

That was a while ago. I know think Megaman Legends was underrated, not overrated. I was just influenced by the opinions of those who love the NES Megaman games (Screwattack).

Keiji Inafune is such a hypocrite. He bitches about Japanese games and saying they should make (ugly) western games yet he was planning to be involved in making Megaman Legends 3 and Asura's Wrath which are both purely Japanese.

DmC was the final straw for Capcom. They stop making shoddy games like Dead Rising, Lost Planet, Bionic Commando and Dark Void. They all suck. I also fear for the future of Resident Evil going from a survival horror to a shooter.

Ahh, chanceux.

J'aurais bien aimé en avoir un de Bass et Treble de sa part.

Mais en tout cas, tu l'as amplement bien mérité ce dessin par ce cher Keiji Inafune, mon Phil.

Lucky! My life won't be complete until I get a Mega Man original from him (and a Mario original from Shigeru Miyamoto, haha)

I would be too, for sure. I've never been to any game conventions or anything, much less Captivate! (looking at your journal post) The chances of me being able to meet him are pretty slim. I wish I could write a letter to him, hah. But that sounds like such an amazing trip, even just hanging out with people and relaxing, heh
